Magination besides guided always Chantal Maurer. Crossed by Nice Arts, it played sculpture, ceramic and pottery before devoting completely in painting… Art which she will learn to control in self-educated person during her leisure.
It devotes herself to it in a “naïve” manner and so enjoys to make of the cloth a mirror of soul and heart.

This artistic generosity will allow to Chantal Maurer to acquire in 1973 the 1st price of the living room of the regional artists; a turn in its career of self-educated person since will follow numerous prices and exhibitions… It will accept encouragement of Anatole Jakowsky* even in 1973!

Today even, Chantal Maurer establishes himself as a storyteller who paints with the heart. Having marked by the Eastern countries and their warmth, she likes to plunge us into the enchanting world of the snowy landscapes and to represent any kind of human gathering, absolute symbols of exuberance.
